No one who visits this resort can complain about boredom, that's certain. Activities include watersports (Jetskis, parasailing, kayaks, sailboats), pool games (volleyball, basketball, water aerobics), organized daily activities, beach bonfires and weekly Junkanoo celebrations, Camp Lucaya for the kids, golf, tennis, Dolphin Encounters, treatments at Senses Spa, and, if you're ready for it, getting married in the Victorian-style gazebo framed by groomed gardens and backed by the sea.

Senses Spa, a 25,000-square-foot facility with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, a hair and beauty salon, and several treatment rooms, also serves as a training ground for massage therapists throughout the Bahamas and Caribbean. Signature spa treatments combine elements of the Bahamas with the expertise and soothing hands of the therapists. The treatments are

related to senses and are named accordingly... Sense of Joy, Sense of Peace, Sense of Release.
Imagine the sensation of a Salt-Glo Body Polish, just one of the many treatments offered. Upon entering the spa, you are led to a dressing/locker room. If there is time prior to your scheduled appointment, you can go into the sauna, steam room or individual whirlpool bath, and then shower off in the seven-head spray stall. Or, you can sit in a quiet room with muted lights and aroma therapy candles, sipping an herbal tea while waiting for your specialist.
You are taken to your treatment room, again suffused with muted lights. Soft instrumental music plays unobtrusively in the background. You position yourself on the treatment table, close your eyes, and are transported to another world as the therapist uses a combination of warm oil and Bahamian sea salt to alternately massage and scrub your body. When that portion of the treatment is complete, an apparatus swings over your treatment table and showers you from above with soft rain. The wet towel upon which you are laying is exchanged for a dry one, and a twenty-minute massage completes the treatment.

Your soul isn't the only thing that needs nourishment, but not to worry; with 14 restaurants and lounges, you will never go hungry while at Our Lucaya.
Meals range from casual beach food to traditional meals served at Churchill's Chop House, from Asian cuisine at China Grill to buffet-style meals at the funky Willy Broadleaf, from coffee and pastries at On Higher Grounds to Northern Italian fare with flair at Portobellos. Reservations are required at some of the restaurants, as is more formal attire; most of the eateries allow a come-as-you-are casualness.

Golf at the resort can be as challenging as you want it, or as comfortable as desired. The two championship courses, designed by Dick Wilson (the Lucayan Course) and Robert Trent Jones Junior (the Reef Course) provide compelling golf for both the dedicated golfer and the casual player. The Butch Harmon School of Golf combines classic training techniques with high-tech systems so that you can assess and correct your play.
Our Lucaya also offers a choice of tennis courts (clay, hard court and artificial turfgrass) for your selection. A tennis pro is available for lessons, and of course racquets can be rented on site.
Camp Lucaya provides daily programs for kids from two and a half years of age to 12 years, including arts and crafts classes, beach excursions, and playground time.
No matter how you choose to spend your time at the resort, it's bound to be a full and rewarding experience for everyone in your family.
